SPOOL MANUFACTURING

The sections pertaining to piping system in the foundation of refinery and petrochemical facilities are called as spool. It has become a frequently preferred method to manufacture these sections in a factory environment. Spool manufacturing requires the use of pipes and connections in different sizes and quantities. It is aimed to minimize the loss in determining the pipes to cut for a spool. In this way the number of welding pipes is reduced and therefore facility construction time is also significantly reduced.
