Furthermore they are of strategic importance to the countries. Liquid and gas pipelines constitute basic necessities for both economic growth and industrial production and agriculture. Installation and configuration of the pipelines has become a business line requiring specialty and experience.

Installation and construction time of the pipelines depends typically on lead and erection times. Long term and defect-free installation are essentially important in the production of pipelines.
